In the next episode ofCelebrity IOU,theAvataractress, 45, recruitsProperty Brothersstars Jonathan and Drew Scott to help her transform her best friend and makeup artist Vera’s kitchen into a sleek and modern space.
“Vera puts others first, it feels really good to put her first and knowing all the sacrifices that she made,” Saldaña says of her friend, whom she says she bonded with soon after she moved to Hollywood at 27 years old and considers a “sister.”
She added of the renovation surprise, “Just to be a part of doing something really sweet for her that she’s going to use forever, just makes me really happy.”
In an exclusive first look at the episode, above, Saldaña gets her hands dirty — and shows her strength — while working on the kitchen island.
“The kitchen, in every household around the world, ends up being the room of choice where everybody comes as a community to bond and interact and do so many things,” Saldaña explains of her desire to revamp the space.
She can be seen working withJonathan Scottto place different sized slabs of white stone on the face of the island and helping to lift a large stone slab for the countertop installation.
