Travis Barkeris sharing more about his health with fans.
After revealing thathe had tested positive for COVID-19on Sept. 22, theBlink-182drummer, 47, shared a couple of updates regarding his health and well-being on X (formerly known as Twitter).
On Friday, Barker wrote aposton X where he revealed that as well as having had COVID last week, he also had “an episode of trigeminal neuralgia, and a root canal. Which means I can pretty much handle anything god throws at me.”
According to theMayo Clinic, trigeminal neuralgia is “a condition that causes painful sensations similar to an electric shock on one side of the face.”

In an earlier post on X, Barker, who is preparing to rejoin his bandmates for the remainder of the Europe leg of their tour, had opened up once more about his fear of flying. “I still hate flying. I love touring and playing music but I unfortunately associate traveling and flying with death,” hewroteon the social media platform. “I am strong and nothing can keep me from living life though 💪.”
The crash killed Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, pilot Sarah Lemmon and co-pilot James Bland as well as his security guard Charles “Che” Still. Sadly, Goldstein died a year later from aprescription drug overdose.
In July, the drummermarked his 30th flight since the crash.
Blink-182’s next performance is scheduled to take place on Oct. 2 at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, per theband’s website. The “All the Small Things” rockers’ upcoming album is set to be released on Oct. 20, and they released anew single, “One More Time,” earlier this month.

Even outside of touring and dealing with his health issues, Barker has had a busy month.

After Blink-182 revealed they had postponed some of their European tour dates becauseBarker needed to return to the Statesfor an “urgent family matter,” the couple later confirmed that Kourtney had experienced a pregnancy complication.
“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock,” she continued the Sept. 6post. “And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
She continued, “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
