Eat, drink and get married!

This may just have been the motto forGeorge ClooneyandAmal Alamuddin’swedding weekend. During the magical four-day celebration, the couple treated their guests to the best food and wine Venice had to offer. From separatehis-and-hers partiesto an elegant post-wedding brunch – not to mention a fabulous reception in between – the bride and groom made the most of the city’s dining experience.

“Venice is the most romantic city in the world,” Clooney tells PEOPLE exclusively, “and we couldn’t think of a better place to get married.”

In what could be every foodie’s dream menu, here’s a look back at the delicious dishes, amazing drinks andfun times.

Friday Night: Boys’ Night, Da Ivo

While the bride enjoyed girl time, Clooney’s small group boarded a boat to Da Ivo restaurant, a favorite spot of the groom. “George has been here very often in the past, but never have I seen him looking this happy,” owner Giovanni Da Ivo tells PEOPLE. “He could not stop laughing.” On the menu: stuffed zucchini flowers, figs and ham, razor clams, fresh tagliolini pasta with thinly sliced truffles and rice with button mushrooms, in which Clooney indulged in two servings! And to complete their boys’ night out,plenty of Casamigos tequilaand a bottle of one of Italy’s best vintages, Sassicaia which Clooney signed, “Thank you another perfect night!”

Saturday Night: Wedding Reception, Aman Canal Grande Venice

Forthe big day, famed chef Riccardo de Pra prepared a delectable meal, which Clooney called “classic Italian.” About 100relatives and close friendsfeasted on potatoes with champagne and black truffle, lemon risotto with lobster, lemon and ricotta agnolotti, Chianina beef with porcini mushroom and sea bass with fruit and vegetable ceviche. Fine wine, Alain Navarre champagne (monogrammed with the couple’ssignature “AG” initials) and, of course, Casamigos tequila flowed, and for dessert: chocolate wedding cake.

Sunday Afternoon: Sunday Brunch, Hotel Cipriani

Aftertying the knot, the newlyweds hosted yet another festivity, brunch atBelmond Hotel Cipriani. Looking gorgeous in a Giambattista Valli Couture dress, Alamuddin and her new husbandarrived at the venueat around 3:00 p.m. (giving their guest plenty of time to sleep in since the party didn’t stop until 5 a.m.!). The meal included crudités with pinzimonio, risotto primavera, baked tagliolini cipriani with ham and a selection of cakes and ice creams.

And the celebration didn’t stop there! On Sunday night, there was also a post-‘I do’ dinner atGranaries of the Republicbefore the couple closed out the wedding festivities with aprivate civil ceremonythe next day.
