Jost looked equally chic in a burgundy suit and gray T-shirt as he came out to support his wife, who plays actress Midge Campbell in the newWes Andersonmovie released on June 19. The film also starsTom Hanks,Bryan Cranston,Adrien Brody,Maya Hawke,Matt Dillon, Fisher Stevens, andSteve Carell.

Last month, Johansson and Jost also putting on an equally loving display asthey stepped out togetherat the 2023Cannes Film Festivalfor the world premiere ofAsteroid City.

Johansson and Jost got marriedin an intimate ceremonyback in October 2020, aftergetting engaged in May 2019. They share a son, who arrived in August 2021.

Speaking onGwyneth Paltrow’sGooppodcast in May, Johanssonopened up about her marriageand what she’s learned from her relationship with theSaturday Night Livestar.

“I didn’t know what I wanted or needed from somebody else,” she said. “I never realized, ‘Oh, it’s really important for me, I need to be with a compassionate person. That’s a fundamental characteristic that has to be there.’ I think understanding what those fundamental things are that you need in a partner is a must, I think — for longevity, anyway.”

She added, “I think identifying those things was a game-changer for me.”
