Gavin Newsom released his education budget bill for next year, and in it was a proposal to suspend the administering of the tests for the upcoming school year and through 2023, Department of Finance spokesperson H.D. Palmer confirmed to PEOPLE.Per the proposed language in the bill, the department would use that time to look to experts and other stakeholders with expertise in things like fitness, gender identity and disability to get better recommendations regarding both the purpose and the administration of the test....
