SincePEOPLE first confirmedRodriguez, 43, and Lopez were dating in March 2017, the lovebirds have been open about their appreciation for each other, the joy of blending their familiesand challenges they’ve taken on as a team.
Recently, the pair went on a10-day no-sugar, no-carb detox— and while they tackled the strict diet together, they had very different reactions to it being over.
TheSecond Actstar admitted last Friday during a call-in to theTodayshow that when her challenge ended, she had three bites of oatmeal andfelt “done” because much of her cravingshad gone away over the course of the week and a half and “you just can’t fit as much down.”
On the flip side, “Alex went crazy,” Lopez joked. “I was dreaming about what I was gonna eat, but the truth is you get to a point where you can’t fit that much downafter you remove that much of the carbsbecause that’s really what bloats you and gives you all that inflammation.”

Of the potential of marriage, Lopez — who has been married three times, while Rodriguez has tied the knot once before — said in a recent interview that sheunderstands the pressure some fans haveput on the couple since they went public with their romance.
But the “Waiting for Tonight” hitmaker was also quick to point out that her life with the former New York Yankees star is private, and not like the movies she stars in.
“Everyone wants a fairy tale. They all want a romantic comedy, a happy ending. We all do,” LopeztoldUSA TODAYin an interview published in December. “But it’s not a movie, even if you see us on Instagram or on the shows.”
