The right term for this is “ interlocking board of directors . ”
Google and Apple , of course , vie in several categories : Google ’s Chrome and Apple ’s Safari entanglement browsers , Android and Mac OS , YouTube and iTunes , Picasa and iPhoto , and many , many more . Yet the company ’ fates are intertwine , and our close authorities watchdogs want to make indisputable nothing untoward is happen in the conjugation . We ’ll keep you updated if anything interesting develops out of the investigating . [ New York Times ]
