It was a beautiful eventide at the lake , and Deinonychus antirrhopus prance its feathers appreciatively . As to what the ancient beast might have been thinking , we can only speculate that it had something to do withnoms .
Deinonychus antirrhopus was a dinosaur who lived during the former Cretaceous time period , and whose length could grow to as much as 11 foot . Its fossil have been come upon in a neighborhood know today as the United States — specifically , in Montana , Oklahoma and Wyoming .
