Varietyis reporting that Chris Carter ’s eldritch Amazon serial is no more . Amazon is walk away from its original plan to fund an intact series . Not super surprising , as the pilot debuted last February and yieldednot great reviews .
The assumption was large and had an even larger mould : “ Eight strangers are thrown together by inscrutable forces and must avail each other live in a trigger-happy world that defies explanation . ” We did n’t get to search this world too much , and it look like we may never get to chance to revisit this odd world Carter create .
