When last we saw Boba Fett , he ’d beenknocked into the Sarlacc piton Tatooine and left for dead . Well , it seems he got out , and he ’ll cross route with a standardized - looking bounty hunter .
The Hollywood Reportersays that Boba Fett will make a brief appearance in The Mandalorian time of year two . That ’s the good news . The better newsworthiness is that he ’ll reportedly be played by actor Temuera Morrison , who played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones . Jango Fett was the fundament for the soldier of the clone United States Army , of which his Logos Boba Fett was one , so Morrison is exactly what Boba Fett would appear like in Star Wars canon . Producers Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau literally could n’t have cast the role better , even if the graphic symbol never charter off his helmet .

Before The Mandalorian , Boba Fett was set to get hisvery own Star Wars spinoff movie . Josh Trank was slate to direct , but after the director forget the project , the whole matter got put on the ledge . Whether or not this will draw anything from that idea is unknown , but that fact proves Boba Fett has been on Lucasfilm ’s to - do leaning for a while now .
Plus , the first seasonof The Mandalorian had a likely tease of this happening . At the remainder ofchapter five , The Gunslinger , the physical structure of Fennec Shand ( Ming - Na Wen ) was draw near by a mysterious figure . Based on the abbreviated look and sound we glimpsed , and fact the episode was set on Tatooine , many think that fiber was Boba Fett . We still do n’t know for certain , but it surely feels plausible .
And , evidently , the Mandalorian himself was raised to be a bounteousness hunting watch in the mould of Boba Fett , both in the story and in our earth , from the armour to the attitude and more . see the two face off in some kind of way would be very exciting .
