When I say I had anApple Watchhands on , I mean literally that and not much more ; it go on my wrist , and cycled through some display modes . But after wearing it , and seeing a school - up Apple pro put it through some delicate paces , it ’s clear that the Apple Watch could live up to its promises .
First , a Son or two on Apple ’s smartwatch ambitions , which are quite large as far as wearable engineering science goes ! Sensor upon sensor , evidence you heartrate , your elevation , if you ’ve stood up enough that day . A wizardly verge that open up locked hotel room doors and pays for your soda . A fashion to allow your friends and lie with ones feel your heartbeat on their wrist no matter how far away you are . It ’s an unbelievable vision . But it ’s not quite ready to show off yet .
That ’s okay though ! Apple ’s dumbfound a history of following through on its software system hope — with the episodic hiccup — and there ’s enough to talk about here with the vigil itself . Which is , on a strictly physical level , beautiful and delightful and something I was pitiful to have to take off of my wrist joint .
While shaped a bit like theLG G Watchand theSamsung Gear Live(in that they ’re all rounded rectangle , but that ’s about as far as you should go with that comparison ) , the Apple Watch feels significantly more premium , which take in sensation because it command a premium Mary Leontyne Price . We ’ll fuck the response to all of those questions when the Apple Watch arrive out next yr , if not sooner . But for now , it ’s a just a beautiful watch . And if what it does can live up to how it look , it ’ll probably make its direction onto your articulatio radiocarpea .
