In an audience with Yahoo ! Movies , Hopkins gushed about work with Bay on the up-to-the-minute Transformers movie , Transformers : The Last Knight , where he plays an astronomer and historian who knows the “ straight story ” behind the Transformers . In the interview , Hopkins praised Bay and the total Transformers series , compare him to some of the greatest director of all time , including Martin Scorsese . That ’s right-hand , Hopkins thinks the guy wire who reportedly made Megan Foxaudition by washing his carfor a now - missing video is in the same family as the valet de chambre behind Goodfellas ( then again , Scorsese has defendeddirector Roman Polanski , so maybe not the proficient comparison ) .
