A Texas woman says she of late witness an alligator with what appeared to be some variety of tongue amaze in its head swimming in a local lake , a position she order she believes may have been a purposeful act .
The alligator was reportedly spotted by at least two witnesses inside Orchard Lake Estates in Sugar Land , Texas this week . Erin Weaver , the woman who captured a picture of the alligator with the protruding knife in its school principal , recite NBC - affiliateKPRCthat she run across the alligator near some rocks former Thursday during a morning walk .
