Did you ever watchkids ’ plot showslike Double Dare , Guts , or caption of the Hidden Temple and think “ That … butStar Wars ? ” If so , your prayers have been answered . That show now exists .
It ’s call in Star Wars : Jedi Temple Challenge and it will launch on Disney+ in 2020 . host byJar Jar Binks himself , Ahmed Best , the show will “ test vernal contestant ’ abilities in the core Jedi principles of strength , knowledge , and bravery as they confront thrilling and fun obstacles in an attempt to attain the rank of Jedi Knight , ” according to theofficial Star Wars land site .
What does that mean exactly ? We do n’t know . But it sound very much like the appearance mentioned above — those classic eighties and ‘ 90s Nickelodeon secret plan shows where kids had to be smart , fast , and resourceful to answer question , double-dyed challenge , and lead through elaborate , sometimes glaring , obstacle courses .

“ This is definitely a child game show like no other , ” Lucasfilm’ssenior director of Online Content & Programming , Mickey Capoferri , allege in a public press freeing . “ The various challenge will test a Padawan ’s connexion to the Force in three locations — a forest planet , onboard a Jedi star cruiser , and inside a Jedi temple — bury them and the audience in a merriment , humorous , and exciting competition . ”
ripe ( who ’ll be appearing as himself , not Jar Jar ) will be hosting with “ a hilarious humanoid droid fellow traveller ” voiced by Veep ’s Mary Holland .

No word on when Star war : Jedi Temple Challenge will debut besides 2020 , but it seems like it could be the next Star Wars show on the service . I ’m just mad I ’m almost 40 and likely too old to be part of the competition .
